According to an Australian governmental report, around 2.7 million Australians (11% of the total population) have asthma. The Australian government spends more than $770 million a year to treat this condition, about 0.7% of its total health-related expenditures. Asthma affects the physical, psychological, and social wellbeing of it sufferers, children above all.

People with severe asthma can experience frequent attacks. It can be a major problem that interferes with daily activities and may, though rarely, be life-threatening. Asthma can’t be cured, but its symptoms can be controlled. Because asthma often changes over time, it’s important for a patient to work with her doctor to track signs and symptoms and adjust treatment as needed.

Care.Wallet will provide an easier way to manage care. Patients will be able to immediately share updates on health conditions, make note of prescription side effects, or any other information with their care provider, doctor, or family using the HAYFT Care.Card. Easy access to daily records means providers can also monitor their patients’ conditions and give recommendations without having to wait for appointments to do so.

Care.Wallet will help manage asthma by encouraging patients to regularly monitoring their health. Everything at Solve.Care is being designed to improve the quality and efficiency of healthcare for everyone.
